Programs and ActivitiesElevate Out of School Program Out of School Program that includes enrichment trips and activities, homework assistance. Dinner is provided by the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank’s Kids Café Program. (Monday-Friday 2pm - 6pm) Women's Only Open Gym Basketball for women. (Mondays and Wednesdays 6pm - 8pm) Impact Training Basketball training for younger kids. (Fall Thursdays 6pm - 8pm) 50 Strong Basketball Basketball and enrichment for middle and high school students. (Sundays 4pm - 7pm) Trunk or Treat Car enthusiasts bring their vehicles and distribute candy to children in the neighborhood, a safe alternative to walking the neighborhood. (Halloween, 6:00pm-8:00pm) Family Game Night Held each year in November to celebrate parental involvement in the City of Hampton. Dinner is served and families learn games that they can enjoy at home with each other. Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner Meal with all of trimmings open to anyone who would have to dine alone or does not have the financial means or physical ability to prepare a meal at home. (Thanksgiving Week) Family Holiday Celebration Seasonal dessert and family trip to a local holiday attraction. (December) Egg Hunt Seasonal egg hunt in Y. H. Thomas Park. (April) Elementary School Prom Annual Elementary School prom to let the kids show out with their best attire and have fun dancing in a safe setting. (May) |
